EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
ISSUE
Mr Haeg has been on medical leave from his duties as firefighter since May 2005 and is requesting
additional leave. According to the Fire Department Personnel Pohcy, "A medical leave of more than sixty
(60) days requires city council approval Medical documentation has been received to warrant approval of
this leave. It is unclear at this time when Mr. Haeg will be returning to his position on Rosemount's
volunteer fire department.
SUMMARY
Approval of extending Michael Haeg's medical leave for one year is being requested by Council.
