RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion to approve a revised meeting schedule for 2006 to move the regular City Council
meeting scheduled for July 4, 2006 to July 11, 2006.
Motion to approve a revised meeting schedule for 2006 to move the regular City Council
meeting scheduled for the August 1, 2006 to August 2, 2006.
BACKGROUND
Regular City Council meetings are held the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at
City Hall. Occasionally meeting dates are changed to avoid conflicts with holidays or other events.
DISCUSSION
Meeting date changes are necessary due to conflicts over the July 4 holiday and National Night Out
in August. The meeting scheduled for July 4` will be held on July 11 due to scheduling conflicts.
The meeting scheduled for August 1s` will be held on August 2 so that Council Members may
attend National Night Out Notice of the meeting changes will be posted at City Hall and published
in Rosemount Town Pages.
CONCLUSION
Approve the change in the 2006 meeting schedule to hold regular Council Meetings on July 11 and
August 2 "d.
