May 16, 2006 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY DISCUSSION Eric started with the City last month in the Senior Planner position. Because this position has a lot of pubhc contact, it was decided that it may be beneficial to introduce Mr. Zweber at a Council meeting He has extensive background m planning process and zoning apphcanon review both in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Oregon. Eric will be the primary contact for the City's 2008 Comprehensive Plan update as well as many of the current planning functions of the department. Additional Information: PUBLIC HEARING 7a. Public Hearing for Easement Vacation Endres Revised Resolution Vacating the Easements on Endres Property. ADMINISTRATION CITY OF ROSEMOUNT DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 2006 A RESOLUTION VACATING THE EASEMENTS ON ENDRES PROPERTY WHEREAS, a pubhc heanng was scheduled and held before the City Council of the City of Rosemount on July 11, 2006 after due publication as required by law, and all interested persons were given an opportum to be heard, and WHEREAS, it appears the current easement serving a pubhc purpose is based upon the property in a predevelopment state, and will be replaced by a modified easement for pubhc purpose that will be incorporated with the development plat NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the following easement hereby vacated, to wit: ATTEST: Vacate all drainage easements and drainage and utility easements over, under, and across Lot 1, Block 1, ENDRES PROPERTIES ADDITION, according to the recorded plat thereof, Dakota County, bhnnesota. Subject to: 1. City Council approval of final plat 2. Dedication of temporary easements in a format acceptable to the City Attorney. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Attorney shall prepare a notice of completion of the proceedings and necessary Quit Claim Deeds which shall contain the name of the City, identification of the vacation and a statement of the time of completion thereof, and shall present the same to the County Auditor and then file a copy with the County Recorder.
