EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
ISSUE
W'ilkat Inc DBA McDwot's Sports Pub Eatery "McDivot's has made application for an "On-
Sale License on Public Premise" liquor license. The main purpose of the request is to hold a wine
tasting event at the Rosemount Community Center on Saturday, July 28 during Leprechaun Days.
BACKGROUND
City Code 3 -1 -15 On -Sale License on Public Premise states the City Council may issue to the holder
of an on -sale mtoxicating liquor hcense issued by the city or a mumcipahty adjacent to the city, a
license to allow the dispensing of intoxicating liquor at any convention, banquet, conference,
meeting or social affair conducted on the premises of a sports, convention or cultural facility owned
by the City. The fee for obtaining such license is $350 00. The city also requires a copy of the
apphcant's current Certificate of Liability Insurance. The duration of the granted hcense shall
remain m effect from its issuance until December 31 of the year it is issued. No public hearing is
required for the granting of an on -sale license on public premises.
SUMMARY
McDivot's currently holds an approved hquor hcense in Rosemount. The required $350.00 fee and
insurance documents have been submitted. The hcense term will run from date of approval to
December 31, 2006.
CONCLUSION
Staff recommends approval of the above referenced motion.
In answering the following questions, "APPLICANTS" shall be governed as follows: For a
partnership, one of the partners shall execute this application for all members of the
partnership. For a corporation, one officer shall execute this application for all
officers, directors and stockholders. For a club, one officer shall execute for all
officers.
