Motion to approve the Temporary 3.2% Malt Liquor License for KVAMS Softball
Tournament at Erickson Park on July 22 and 23, 2006.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
ISSUE
Veronica Sprute with the KVAMS Softball Tournament has made application for a "Temporary
3 2 °/o Malt Liquor" license The tournament will be held July 22 -23 at Erickson Park.
BACKGROUND
City Code 3 -1 -13 Temporary Licenses states the City Council may issue a temporary on -sale license
for the sale of 3.2 percent malt liquor to a club, charitable, religious or nonprofit organization
SUMMARY
Staff recommends approval of the temporary liquor hcense and will remind the applicant that liquor
must be contamed within fifty feet of the shelter at Erickson Park.
CONCLUSION
Staff recommends approval of the above referenced motion.
