Hentges Sons, Inc. and Accepting it for Perpetual Maintenance 4 ROSEMOUNT CITY COUNCIL City Council Meeting: October 3, 2006 BACKGROUND: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY This item is on the agenda to request Payment #11 and Final to S.M. Hentges Sons for Connemara Crossings, City Project #391 This project mduded the construction of streets, sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer and sidewalks within the Connemara Crossings Addition. The final construction amount of $361,188.06 is 5% below the contract amount of $380,008.57. SUMMARY: Staff recommends that Council approve Payment #11 and final for the project and accept the project for perpetual maintenance subject to the following conditions. 1. Satisfactorily showing that the contractor has comphed with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes 290.92 requiring withholding state income tax. 2. Evidence in the form of an affidavit that all claims against the contractor by reasons of the contract have been fully paid or satisfactorily secured. 3.
