BACKGROUND:
SUMMARY:

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Through the development of the City's Pavement Management Program, streets highhghted in red on the
attached map have been identified as streets with Pavement Condition Indexes (PCI) below 35. With a
PCI of 35 or less, these streets are candidates for reconstruction or full -depth rehabilitation As there are
no standard PCI's established in 2006, it is proposed to use available funding to improve the highhghted
streets in red.
At this time, Staff is requesting authorization to prepare a feasibility report for the red highlighted streets
The feasibility report will include detailed cost estimates and pnonnzauon of the street improvement order
based on available funding As the size of a construction project will be based on available funding as a
combination of street C I P funds, utility funds and assessments, it is anticipated that multiple projects will
be completed over multiple years based on this feasibility report.
Staff is requesting Council authorization to prepare a feasibility report for the Street Improvement
Program.

A RESOLUTION ORDERING A FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR THE
STREET IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
CITY PROJECT #410
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemount deems it necessary to investigate the feasibility of
the Street Improvement Program, City Project #410.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Staff is directed to have the necessary feasibility report
prepared for the Street Improvement Program, City Project #410.
