EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
ISSUE
There are five members on the Parks and Recreation Commission. At the last Council meeting, the
Council accepted the resignation of the Chair, Eric Johnson. Kevin Strayton, a previous Council
member, has expressed an interest in serving on the Parks Board due to his interest in parks and
recreation matters It is requested that the Council formally approve appointment of Kevin Strayton
to fill the remainder of Eric Johnson's position which will expire on March 31, 2008.
