EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
ISSUE
Presently the Port Authority is comprised of four council members and three citizens at large. The
Port Authority terms run concurrently to the City Council terms. With the last election, two Council
members were re- elected, and therefore, their Port Authonty appointments need to be renewed. It
is requested that the Council formally approve re- appointment of Mark DeBettigmes and William
Droste to the Port Authority Similarly, the position occupied by Jay Tentinger was at one time
allocated to the fifth Council member Therefore that at large position also runs concurrently with
the Council election cycle Reappointment of Jay Tentmger would be in effect until December 2010.
