through December 31, 2007 for Shenanigan's Pub, Celts Irish Pub Grill and Crowne

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
ISSUE
City Code 3 -1 -15 On -Sale License on Public Premise states the City Council may issue to the holder of an
on -sale intoxicating hquor hcense issued by the city or a municipality adjacent to the city, a license to allow
the dispensing of intoxicating liquor at any convention, banquet, conference, meeting or social affair
conducted on the premises of a sports, convention or cultural facility owned by the City.
BACKGROUND
Shenanigan's Pub, Celt's and Crown Plaza have applied for the opportunity to serve intoxicating beverages
at the Rosemount Community Center. The apphcants held said licenses in 2006 and are m good standing
with Community Centex management
The fee for obtaining the license is $350 00. The duration of the granted license shall remain in effect
from its issuance until December 31 of the year it is issued. No public hearing is required for the granting
of an on -sale hcense on pubhc premises.
SUMMARY
Staff recommends approval of the above stated motion.
