Dear Ms. Boyd,
I am writing regarding the Dakota Electric 2007 grant for the City of Rosemount. This year the
City will allocate the $5000 grant to work on the City's reuse study of the St. Joe's church and
campus located m Downtown Rosemount. As you are aware, the City purchased the entire
property to facilitate construction of a County library. Construction of the hbrary and public use
of the remainder of the site will serve as a cornerstone to the Downtown redevelopment project.
In January, a task force will begin looking at potential reuse of the site in the short- and long-
term. Monies will be used for professional assistance in this endeavor.
