RECOMMENDATION Motion to receive a donation of $5000 from Dakota Electric to be used for the St. Joseph Task Force planning process. December 8, 2006 LaDonna Boyd Dakota Electric 4300 220 Street West Farmington, MN 55024 Dear Ms. Boyd, I am writing regarding the Dakota Electric 2007 grant for the City of Rosemount. This year the City will allocate the $5000 grant to work on the City's reuse study of the St. Joe's church and campus located m Downtown Rosemount. As you are aware, the City purchased the entire property to facilitate construction of a County library. Construction of the hbrary and public use of the remainder of the site will serve as a cornerstone to the Downtown redevelopment project. In January, a task force will begin looking at potential reuse of the site in the short- and long- term. Monies will be used for professional assistance in this endeavor.
