ISSUE:
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Connemara water tower is scheduled to be painted m 2007. Staff is requesting Council authorization
to advertise for bids.
BACKGROUND:
Based on the City's approved schedule for inspecting and reconditioning the water towers, the Connemara
Tower is scheduled for pamtmg this summer. The painting of this tower has been scheduled for three
years, but was pushed back to 2007 to accommodate the construction and startup of the new Bacardi
Tower late m 2006.
SUMMARY:
Staff recommends Council authorization to advertise for bids for the painting of the Connemara water
tower.
