RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to Approve Payment #6 and Final for the Glendalough
3� Street and Utility Improvements, City Project 430, to Ryan Contracting, Inc. and
Accepting it for Perpetual Maintenance.
BACKGROUND:
This item is on the agenda to Yequest Payment #6 and Final to Ryan Contracting, Inc. for the Glendalough
3` Addition, Ciry Project 430. This project included the construcrion of storm sewex, streets, and
sidewalks within the Glendalough 3` Addition.
The final construction amount of $303,025.85 is 8.4% below the contract amount of $330,907.00.
The project was funded by the developer, U.S. Home CorpoYarion.
SUMMARY:
Staff recommends that Council approve Payment #6 and final foY the pYOject and accept the project fox
perpetual maintenance subject to the following conditions.
1. Satisfactorily showing that the contractor has complied with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes
290.92 requiring withholding state income tax.
2. Evidence in the forrn of an affidavit that all claims against the contractor by reasons of the
contract have been fully paid or satisfactorily secured.
3: Consent of Surety to Final Payment certification from the contractor's surety.
4. Two-year maintenance bond.
