RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve a 90 day medical leave for Ed Kropelnicki.
BACKGROUND
Ed Kropelnicki has been on medical leave from his duties as firefighter since April 11, 2011 and is
requesting additional leave through September 7, 2011. According to the Fire Department Personnel
Policy, "A medical leave of more than sixty (60) days requires City Council approval." Medical
documentation has been received to warrant approval of this leave. He may be able to return to the Fire
Department sooner.
SUMMARY
Chief Aker requests approval of the extension of medical leave for Ed Kropelnicki.
