BACKGROUN :
Bids for the 2010 Street Improvement Project will be received at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 23, 2010.
As the project includes a number of alternates, the award of a contract to the lowest responsible bidder
will depend on the alternate(s) preferred by Council. Prior to presenting the final bids to Council for
formal action to 'ward a contract, staff would like to present the bid results and alternates to Council for
discussion and direction on preferred alternates.
In addition, a ber efit appraisal has been completed for the proposed assessments to the rural residential
properties on Shannon Parkway. A copy of the appraisal is on file in the engineering department.
At the meeting, slaff will present to Council bid alternate information and updated assessment amounts
based on the bids along with a summary of the benefit appraisal
