DISCUSSION
City staff seeks annual appointments for Parks and Recreation, Planning and Utility advisory
commissions. The vacancies for 2010 include two 3 -year term positions on the Parks and Recreation
Commission; one 3 -year term and one 1 -year term positions on the Planning Commission; and one 3 -year
term position on the Utilities Commission. The terms will be effective April 1, 2010.
The advertisement for openings is typically sent out at the end of January with applications due at the end
of February. Staff is requesting that the City Council determine an evening in March to conduct the
interviews. Appointments will be determined at the March 16, 2010 regular meeting.
