the Rosemount Community Center.
ISSUE
Staff recently received a report detailing the water intrusion problems at the Rosemount Community
Center. There is water coming into the building in a couple of locations on the southern end of the facility
near the Ice, lrena. This is the same problem that the National Guard has dealt with in the past. The
report regarding the water problems estimated the cost of the necessary repairs to be approximately
$ 89,000.
Staff received a proposal from CNH Architects to provide the necessary professional services for the
project at a set cost of $9,000, plus reimbursable expenses as identified on the attached proposal.
Staff feels C,JH Architects has a positive working relationship with the City as a result of their
work on the Steeple Center and they were also the architects used by the National Guard to
provide architectural services during the repair of their water intrusion issues.
