U/.h, ATTACHMENTS: None APPROVED BY: DW RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to set a special meeting for Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall for the purpose of canvassing the November 22, 2010 Recount Election returns. ISSUE The City Council serves as the canvassing board for city elections. A spreadsheet including the return information of the November 2 General Election has been provided for declaring the official results. Staff is requesting that the City Council set a special meeting for November 23, 2010 at 5 p.m. to canvass to review any challenged ballots and canvass the recount election returns. RECOMMENDATION The City Council is asked to set a special meeting to be held on November 23, 2010 in the City Council Chambers at 5:00 p.m. for the purpose of canvassing the November 22, 2010 Recount Election Returns.
