V111 ATTACHMENTS: None APPROVED BY: RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve the liquor license renewals as listed for the year 2010 with the following conditions: 1) Payment of fees from Irish Liquor and Cafe Raisa Ltd; and 2) CPA Statements from Fireside and Rudy's Redeye Grill attesting that 51 % of total revenues of the business were derived from the sale of food and non - alcoholic beverages during the preceding 12 months. ISSUE Each year the City Council considers renewals of liquor licenses for all businesses in Rosemount that handle the sale of intoxicating liquor. The following applications for liquor licenses have been received for 2011: r1MF City Limits On -Sale Liquor License (Class B) and Special Sunday Applebee's Carbonne's Pizza & Pub Celt's Cub Liquors Fireside Irish Liquor Raisa Cafe Ltd. Rosemount American Legion Post 65 Rosemount Liquor Rudy's Redeye Grill Shenanigan's Shenanigan's Pub Tops Pizza and Hoagies VFW Club Rosemount Post 9433 On -Sale Liquor License (Class B) and Special Sunday On -Sale Liquor License (Class B) and Special Sunday On -Sale Liquor License (Class A) and Special Sunday Off -Sale Liquor License On -Sale Liquor License (Class B) and Special Sunday Off -Sale Liquor License Wine On -Sale Liquor License and Special Sunday Club On -Sale Liquor License and Special Sunday Off -Sale Liquor License On -Sale Liquor License (Class B) and Special Sunday Off -Sale Liquor License On -Sale Liquor License (Class A) and Special Sunday On -Sale Liquor License (Class B) and Special Sunday Club On -Sale Liquor License and Special Sunday SUMMARY The Police Department conducted the annual investigations on each applicant and business. During the previous twelve months, none of the businesses had significant changes in the number of police calls for service at the establishments. Applicants were required to and have submitted proof of insurance, renewal fees and the necessary paperwork for the renewal. CONCLUSION Staff recommends approval of the above - stated licenses.
