RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve the following donations: $500 from Dakota
Electric for the Annual Arbor Day Celebration and Tree Give -Away, $200 from CF
Industries to be used for the Leprechaun Days Blarney Stone Hunt, $250 from MN Energy
Resources to be used for the Safety Camp program, and $12,000 from the Rosemount
Lions Club to be used for the Brockway Park Shelter.
ISSUE
Receive donations.
BACKGROUND
The following donations have been received by the Parks and Recreation Department: $500 from Dakota
Electric for the Annual Arbor Day Celebration and Tree Give -Away, $200 from CF Industries to be used
for the Leprechaun Days Blarney Stone Hunt, and $250 from MN Energy Resources to be used for the
Safety Camp program, and $12,000 from the Rosemount Lions Club to be used for the Brockway Park
Shelter.
SUMMARY
This is a request for Council to receive the donations listed above.
