Motion,to approve a Temporary On -Sale Liquor License for the Rosemount VFW to hold a
Leprechaun Days event on July 24, 2010 and Sunday, August 1, 2010 at,2625 120th Street
West with fencing around the parking lot area where liquor will be sold.
SUMMARY
The Rosemount VFW (the "VFW ") has submitted requests for Temporary Outdoor On -Sale Liquor
,License at 2625 120`'' Street West. The purpose of the request is to hold Leprechaun Day events in their
parking lot.
The VFW has traditionally participated in the Leprechaun Days Celebration by hosting special events. The
VFW plans to'sell food and alcoholic drinks in a fenced area of the parking lot.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of the temporary license as requested by the VFW to hold events on July 24
and August 1, 2010. The approvals are subject to the following conditions:
1. The parking lot area be fenced in a manner consistent with prior year`s and approved by the
Rosemount Chief of Police.
2. Access points to the fenced area are staffed by the VFW to control entry /exit.
