RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve a Temporary On -Sale Liquor License for
the Rosemount American Legion to hold Leprechaun Days events on July 30 and 31, 2010,
at 14590 Burma Avenue subject to the conditions in the staff report.
SUMMARY
The Rosemount American Legion (the "Legion ") has submitted a request for a Temporary On -Sale Liquor
License at 14590 Burma Avenue. The purpose of the request is to hold Leprechaun Days events in their
parking lot pavilion.
The Legion has traditionally participated in the Leprechaun Days Celebration by holding events in their
parking lot pavilion. The Legions plans to sell alcoholic drinks with meals on the evening of Friday, July
30 and continue all day on Saturday; July 31.
Staff recommends approval of the temporary liquor license as requested by the Legion to hold Leprechaun
Days events on July 30 and 31, 2010. The approval is subject to the -following conditions:
1. The'pavilion area be fenced in a manner consistent with prior years and approved by the
Rosemount Chief of Police. -
2. Access points to the fenced area�are staffed by the Legion to control entry /exit.
3. All outdoor music must cease by 11:00 p.m.
