RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve the Temporary 3.2% Malt Liquor License
for "the KVAMS Softball Tournament at Erickson Park on July 17 and 18, 2010. t
SUMMARY
Veronica Sprute with the JZ-VAMS Softball Tournament has made application for a Temporary 3.2% ,
Malt Liquor License. The annual softball tournament will be held July 17 -18 at Erickson Park.
City'Code 3 -1 -13 Temporary Licenses states the City Council may issue a temporary on -sale license
for the sale of 3.2'percent malt liquor to a club, charitable, religious or nonprofit organization. Ms.
Sprute has submitted `the $150 fee to obtain the license along with proof of liquor liability insurance.

Staff recommends approval of the temporary liquor license with the condition that liquor must be
contained within fifty feet of the shelter at Erickson Park.
