Earlier this year, the Council adopted goals and a work plan to implement the goals. The Council
requested periodic updates on our progress. Attached is a color coded spreadsheet with our adopted work
plan. Some items were scheduled for various times during the year. An item showing green may mean
one of three things: (1) the item has been completed, (2) the item has met its benchmarks for progress so
far, or (3) the item was not scheduled to be acted upon until later this year.
The proper way to interpret the spreadsheet is therefore to look for items that our not green through July.
This means there was some delay or change relative to the work plan schedule. A review of the
spreadsheet shows the following items not on schedule at this time:
1. Town Hall meetings.
2. Extending City automated record systems to Parks (planned in the next several months)
3. Consider another community festival or event. (golf tournament added to Leprechaun Days)
4. Agreement with University for ballfields at UMore. (Agreement is nearly complete.)
5. Agreement with St. Joe's for athletic fields? (Discussions have been held, no agreement yet).
6. Additional tennis courts. (Awaiting finalization of item #4 and cost estimate for ballfields).
The other 36 items appear to be satisfactory at this time.
