Minutes of the September 15, 2010 City Council Work Session ProceedingsROSEMOUNT CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION PROCEEDINGS SEPTEMBER 15, 2010 Council Members Shoe - Corrigan and Weisensel expressed concerns that the Hoisington fees were too high. Council Member Shoe - Corrigan questioned if WSB could contract out the fees at a better rate. Mr. Brotzler stated that Hoisington was working off a concept plan and not a final design. The fees would change based upon the concept plan to the final design fees. Council Member Weisensel questioned the difference in services. Assistant City Engineer Dawley replied that WSB focuses on infrastructure as opposed to onsite amenities. The City Council directed staff to review the numbers and obtain new bids. Discussion was also held regarding the sponsorship opportunities at the fields. Mr. Schultz will check into the different advertising packages, etc. Council Member Shoe - Corrigan also questioned the current needs for different sports. Mr. Schultz provided information on the different sports and leagues that will be using the fields. 2.C. City Administrator Evaluation The City Council preferred to use the same evaluation form as last year. City Administrator Johnson will email out the evaluation form including goals and the 2010 work plan. The City Council will submit their forms to Assistant City Administrator Foster by September 19, 2010. UPDATES Mayor Droste stated that the Chamber utilized the Steeple Center for its meeting on September 14. Parks and Recreation Director Schultz provided an update on the rentals and feedback from the public. Further discussion was held regarding the time and date of the following events: September 27, 2010 Candidate Forum, September 28 Fire Department Meeting and City Council meeting date change from November 2 to November 1, 2010.
