RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to Approve the On -Sale Class B Liquor License and
Sunday Liquor License for Apple Minnesota LLC for Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar
located at 15015 Cimarron Avenue.
BACKGROUND
An On -Sale Class B Liquor License including Sunday Liquor application request has been made by Apple
Minnesota LLC for Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar. The current Applebee's restaurant located in
Rosemount has been sold to a new corporate owner which necessitates obtaining a new liquor license. All
of the Applebee's locations in Minnesota are being sold to a new company, Apple Minnesota LLC. Apple
Minnesota LLC has four officers which have all completed the necessary portions of the application. The
day -to -day operations of the restaurant including the employees, menu and hours of operation will remain
the same. However, the on -site manager has changed from the previous application.
The Police Department conducted the appropriate background checks and no negative information was
found. Based upon the information provided in the original background investigation of the principles in
the Rosemount Applebee's ownership and history of the restaurant since its opening, it is recommended
that the license be approved.
SUMMARY
Staff recommends approval of the On -Sale Class B Liquor License and Sunday Liquor License for Apple
Minnesota LLC for Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar located at 15015 Cimarron Trail, Rosemount.
