RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve On- Public Premise Liquor Licenses for
serving intoxicating beverages at the Rosemount Community Center valid January 1, 2010
through December 31, 2010 for Shenanigan's Pub, Carbone's Pizza Pub, and Babe's
Sports Bar Grill.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
ISSUE
City Code 3 -1 -15 On -Sale License on Public Premise states the City Council may issue to the holder of an
on -sale intoxicating liquor license issued by the city or a municipality adjacent to the city, a license to allow
the dispensing of intoxicating liquor at any convention, banquet, conference, meeting or social affair
conducted on the premises of a sports, convention or cultural facility owned by the City.
BACKGROUND
Shenanigan's Pub and Babe's Sports Bar Grill have applied for the opportunity to serve intoxicating
beverages at the Rosemount Community Center. The applicants held said licenses in 2009 and are in good
standing with Community Center management. This will be the first year that Carbone's Pizza Pub will
hold such license.
The fee for obtaining the license is $350.00. The duration of the granted license shall remain in effect
from its issuance until December 31 of the year it is issued. No public hearing is required for the granting
of an on -sale license on public premises.
SUMMARY
Staff recommends approval of the above stated motion.
