RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to receive a donation of $5000 from Dakota Electric to
be used for marketing opportunities.
DISCUSSION
A donation in the amount of $5000 has been received from Dakota Electric to be used in
conjunction with the City's economic development efforts. Dakota Electric annually contributes to
City economic development efforts including past expenditures for technology upgrades,
Downtown Redevelopment planning, City marketing, payment to consultants for work on the St.
Joseph's Task Force work and participation in the IAMC Conference which was held this last fall.
This year, the donation will be used to continue the City's marketing efforts to support our
economic development initiatives in possibly a membership in IAMC and participating in additional
events held by the organization.
RECOMMENDATION
Motion to receive a donation of $5000 from Dakota Electric.
