BACKGROUND: You may recall a few months ago the City received grant money from the Federal government to upgrade our Public Works communications equipment. The City has gone to 800 megahertz radios and replaced the old two -way handheld and mobile radios. These used radios, which have no real monetary value, will either be sold, donated or recycled. Staff is looking into the different possibilities.
