RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to accept this undesignated donation of $100 for the
fire department.
SUMMARY:
This is a request for Council to accept this donation from Residential Mortgage Group Inc., for the fire
department. A letter that outlines the source of the donation is attached.
Council approval will be requested prior to the expenditure of this money.

Dear Rosemount Fire Department:
Residential Mortgage Group has a charitable donation program called "Refer a friend Build
your Community" TM When someone closes a mortgage with us, we donate $100 to the local
school, police or fire department of your client.
Enclosed you will find a check payable to your organization. Our client has selected your group
to be a beneficiary of our program in conjunction with their transaction. Congratulations, we
hope there will be more to come. Listed below is the name of the donor that has selected you:
Every loan that Residential Mortgage Group closes can result in up to $100 donated to the
school, police or fire department in a local community. Our goal is to donate at least $200,000
this year. We believe everyone in our communities will benefit. Call us if you have any
