City Council Workshop Meeting: May 13, 2009
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
ISSUE:
The Council approved citywide goals for 2009 -2010 at the April 7` regular meeting. Following the
adoption, staff proceeded to develop a generalized work plan for a number of specific desired outcomes
included in the adopted goals. The Council should review the draft work plan and identify any changes
that should be made.
BACKGROUND:
The attached work plan attempts to estimate when various elements will reach important milestones and
also when they will be complete. Some items depend partially or wholly on the actions of outside agencies,
such as the University of Minnesota. Staff plans to update progress on the work plan quarterly for the
Council.
