RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve street closings for the Big Wheel Races
and the Parade as part of the 2008 Leprechaun Days Celebration and to add the events
listed below to the service agreement.

ISSUE
In the spring of 2008, the City approved a Service Agreement with the Leprechaun Days Committee. As in
years past, street closing requests and the addition of events to the service agreement have been brought to
the City Council for their approval.
SUMMARY
The current requests for street closings include:
1. Big Wheel, Trike and Scooter Races plus Penny Scramble Wednesday, July 23 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm
Burma Ave. from 145t St. to 146` St.
2. Parade Saturday, July 26 10:00 am to 2:15 pm
Starting at RHS Chili Ave. south to 145t St., east on 145t St. to Camero Ave., Camero Ave.
north to RMS
The Committee has also requested that the activities listed below be added to the service agreement:
Pancake Breakfast Swim Team
Pancake Breakfast Project Backpacks
Chaos Kaboose Collision BMX Show
Middle and High School Dodgeball Tournament
Irishettes Performance
Girls Alumni Hockey Game
Rods and Wrecks Car Show
Black Ties and Blue Jeans
Shamrock Film Festival
Blue Grass Music
Summer Classic Tennis Tournament
RHS Rock Paper Scissors Tournament
