ISSUE
Introduce Jayson Solberg, filling the new City position of IT Coordinator.
BACKGROUND
The IT Coordinator position was newly created and budgeted for 2008. The City received thirty -eight
applications for the position. Two rounds of interviews were conducted and Jayson was deemed to be the
best suited to fill the position. He was offered the position, accepted and began employment on July 1
Jayson was previously employed as a Technology Supervisor at Next Level Cafe in Burnsville, where he
was employed for the last four and a half years. Prior to that, he served in the U.S. Army. In addition,
Jayson is a graduate of Rosemount High School and a Rosemount resident.
