RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to Declare the City Council Chamber Chairs as
Surplus Items.
SUMMARY
As part of the 2008 budget, Council approved the purchase of 50 new general seating chairs for the
Council Chamber. As a result, Staff recommends Council declare 75 of the existing Council Chamber
chairs to be surplus items (20 chairs will be kept in storage for overflow seating).
