Motion to approve the Temporary 3.2% Malt Liquor License for KVAMS Softball
Tournament at Erickson Park on July 19 and 20, 2008.
ISSUE
Veronica Sprute with the KVAMS Softball Tournament has made application for a "Temporary
3.2% Malt Liquor" license. The tournament will be held July 19 -20 at Erickson Park.
SUMMARY
City Code 3 -1 -13 Temporary Licenses states the City Council may issue a temporary on -sale license
for the sale of 3.2 percent malt liquor to a club, charitable, religious or nonprofit organization.
Staff recommends approval of the temporary liquor license and will remind the applicant that liquor
must be contained within fifty feet of the shelter at Erickson Park.
