RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve the liquor license renewals as listed for the
year 2009 with the condition that the renewals for Rudy's Redeye Grill and AMF City Limits
are subject to receiving the required accountant's statements before December 31, 2008.

ISSUE
Each year the City Council considers renewals of liquor licenses for all businesses in Rosemount that
handle the sale of intoxicating liquor. The following applications for liquor licenses have been received for
2009:
AMF City Limits
Applebee's
Carbonne's Pizza Pub
Celt's
MGM Wine Spirits
Rosemount American Legion Post 65
Rosemount Liquor Mart
Rudy's Redeye Grill
Shenanigan's
Shenanigan's Pub
Tops Pizza and Hoagies
VFW Club Rosemount Post 9433

SUMMARY
The Police Department conducted the annual investigations on each applicant and business. During the
previous twelve months, none of the businesses had significant changes in the number of police calls for
service at the establishments.
Applicants were required to and have submitted proof of insurance, renewal fees and the necessary
paperwork for the renewaL Staff is still waiting for Rudy's Redeye Grill and AMF City Limits to submit
the required accountant's statement to hold an On -Sale Liquor License (Class B) and Special Sunday
license. Staff recommends adoption of the motion with the condition in place to receive the required
accountant's statement by December 31.
CONCLUSION
Staff recommends approval of the above stated licenses.
