RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to receive bids and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk
to enter into a contract with Champion Coatings, the low bidder, to paint the arena ceiling.
ISSUE
The 2008 Capital Improvement Budget (CIP) includes funding to paint the ceiling in the Rosemount
Arena. It was estimated that the project would cost up to $90,000 to complete. Staff compiled a bid
package and advertised the project locally and also in a publication that is published regionally.
SUMMARY
The City received six bids for the project and they are listed in the bid tabulation table below.

Staff is recommending the City Council receive the bids and award the contract to Champion Coatings,
