ISSUE:
Receive bids for the 2008 Street Improvement Project.
BACKGROUND:
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On Friday, April 25, 2008, bids for the 2008 Street Improvement Project were received and read aloud
publicly. This project includes surface improvements to approximately 1.2 miles of 32 -foot wide urban
streets including the following:
Claret Avenue (between 155 Street West and Cornell Trail West)
Cornell Trail (between Claret Avenue and east end)
156 Street West (between Claret Avenue and Chippendale Avenue)
Cicerone Path (from Cornell Trail West southwest approximately 720 feet)
In preparing the bid tabulation a discrepancy amongst all bids was observed due to an irregularity in the
bid form documents. This discrepancy is being reviewed by Staff.
SUMMARY:
Additional information will be provided to Council prior to the meeting for consideration and action.
