RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to adopt the draft Resolution approving the Charitable
Gambling Premise Permit Renewal for the Community Charities of Minnesota at AMF City
Limits Lanes, 15400 South Robert Trail in Rosemount effective April 1, 2008 to March 31,
2010.
ISSUE
Community Charities of Minnesota "CCM is requesting consideration for the renewal of its Gambling
Premise Permit at AMF City Limits Lanes "AMF 15400 South Robert Trail, in Rosemount. CCM is in
the process of renewing their application with the State of Minnesota which requires approval from the
City Council to proceed.
SUMMARY
The current premise permit will expire on March 31, 2008 and term of the renewal would be effective
April 1, 2008 through March 31, 2010. CCM has made Lawful Purpose Donations to the Jr. Bowlers in
Rosemount and various City sponsored activities.
As part of the renewal process, the City conducts a background investigation for the purpose of evaluating
the application. The Police Department found no reason to withhold the granting of a renewal to the
CCM.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of the above stated motion.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHARITABLE GAMBLING PREMISE PERMIT
RENEWAL FOR COMMUNITY CHARITIES OF MINNESOTA AT AMF CITY LIMITS
LANES, 15400 SOUTH ROBERT TRAIL, ROSEMOUNT
WHEREAS, the Community Charities of Minnesota has held a Charitable Gambling Premise
Permit at AMF City T,imits Lanes, 1500 South Robert Trail, in Rosemount; and
WHEREAS, the Community Charities of Minnesota has requested renewal of the Charitable
Gambling Permit at AMF City Limits Lanes, 15400 South Robert Trail, in Rosemount;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rosemount, hereby
approves the Charitable Gambling Premise Permit Renewal application submitted by the
Community Charities of Minnesota to conduct charitable gambling at AMF City Limits Lanes,
15400 South Robert Trail, in Rosemount, for the period of April 1, 2008 to March 31, 2010.
ADOPTED this 19th day of February, 2008 by the City Council of the City of Rosemount.
