EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Mr. Anthony Tabaka began his duties as a police officer with the Rosemount Police Department on
September 8, 2008. He will be present at the meeting to take the Oath of Office.
Tony grew up in Apple Valley and he graduated from Apple Valley High School. Following high school
he enlisted in the US Marine Corps and served from 2000 2004. He eventually enrolled at Rochester
Community College and completed the law enforcement program in June of this year. While attending
RCC, Tony worked as a custodian in the Byron School District.
Upon completion of his field training in early December, Officer Tabaka is expected to begin working as a
patrol officer. He is Rosemount's 22n police officer and fills a position authorized by the City Council in
the 2008 operating budget.
