HIGHWAY #3.
ACTION:
BACKGROUND:
The proposed extension of Connemara Trail from 4,609' east if Trunk Highway 3 to
8,840' east of Trunk Highway 3 through the Meadows of Bloomfield development and
Bloomfield 7 th Addition, including the Connemara Trail Overpass is being designed to
Municipal State Aid standards. As Connemara Trail is designated as a collector street
and in accordance with Municipal State Aid requirements, the establishment of "No
Parking" along this segment of Connemara Trail is necessary.
SUMMARY:
Staff is recommending that Council approve the attached resolution for "No Parking" on
Connemara Trail.

A RESOLUTION DIRECTING PLACEMENT OF NO PARKING SIGNS
ALONG BOTH SIDES OF CONNEMARA TRAIL
FROM 4,609' EAST OF TRUNK HIGHWAY #3 TO
8,840' EAST OF TRUNK HIGHWAY #3
WHEREAS, the construction of the Connemara Trail Overpass will begin constructed in 2004 as City
Project #379; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemount is interested in the safety of its residents; and
WHEREAS, the continued development in the City of Rosemount has produced high volumes of
vehicular and pedestrian traffic within the City of Rosemount; and
WHEREAS, vehicle parking along both sides of Connemara Trail from 4.609' east of Trunk Highway
#3 to 8,804' east of Trunk Highway #3 does create a hazard.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Rosemount directs the
installation of the appropriate "No Parking" signs on both sides of Connemara Trail from 4.609' east of
Trunk Highway #3 to 8,804' east of Trunk Highway #3.
