RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION to change the regularly scheduled City Coun it meeting
to November 3, 2004, beginning at 7 :30 p.m.
ACTION:
ISSUE
The General Election will be held on November 2, 2004. This is the date of the regularly scheduled
City Council meeting. Staff requests that the meeting be moved to Wednesday, November 3, 2004.
BACKGROUND
Minnesota State Statutes require that no public meetings be held between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on
election day. Therefore, staff requests that the regular City Council meeting be changed to
Wednesday, November 3` beginning at 7 :30 p.m.
CONCULSION
Staff recommends approval with the motion noted above.
