EXECUTIVE SUMMARY FOR ACTION

ISSUE
The City Code allows licensed on -sale liquor establishments in Rosemount and contiguous areas to
expand their business for banquets in the Community Center. The license term runs through December
31, 2004.
BACKGROUND
The Long Branch Saloon & Eatery has applied for the on- premise license to serve intoxicating liquor
at the Community Center Banquet Room for an event scheduled in October. They have paid their fee
of $350 and I contacted the Farmington Police Department to verify they have had no criminal
violations of municipal ordinances regarding their on -sale intoxicating liquor license. Staff
recommends approval.
CONCULSION
Staff recommends approval with the motion noted above.
