Gambling Premise Permit for AMF City LimitsCITY OF ROSEMOUNT EXECUTIVE SUMMARY FOR ACTION CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: JANUARY 20, 2004 Community Charities of Minnesota has submitted a Premises Permit Renewal Application for their lawful gambling operations at the AMF City Limits Lanes, 15400 South Robert Trail. The license is for the period of April 1, 2004 to March 31, 2006. They have paid the license fee of $100 and submitted the required documents. Community Charities has held this license for nine years without any problems. It is staff's recommendation that the attached resolution be adopted approving a gambling premises permit to operate charitable gambling at City Limits Lanes. Upon approval by the City Council, the application will be forwarded to the State Gambling Control Board for their review and consideration. 4* CITY OF ROSEMOUNT DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 2004 - A RESOLUTION APPROVING A GAMBLING PREMISES PERMIT APPLICATION FOR AMF CITY LIMITS LANES WHEREAS, the Community Charities of Minnesota organization has requested a lawful gambling on premises permit; and WHEREAS, Community Charities of Minnesota has provided information substantiating that eighty per cent or more of the resulting profits have been spent within Rosemount's trade area, which includes the City of Rosemount and any city with a boundary contiguous to Rosemount. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rosemount, Dakota County, Minnesota, that it hereby approves the Gambling Premises Permit Application submitted by Community Charities of Minnesota to conduct charitable gambling in Rosemount at AMF City Limits Lanes, 15400 South Robert Trail for the period of April 1, 2002 to March 31, 2004. ADOPTED this 20th day of January, 2004, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount. William H.
