ADD -ON: DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORT Item S.C. Donation Acceptance - Police Dept. A grant was received from the U.S. Department of Justice to promote safe firearms handling and storage practices. Firearm safety kits will be available to residents free of charge. 2. ADD -ON CONSENT AGENDA Item 6. n. Medical Leave for a Firefighter A request for a medical leave extension has been made to Firefighter Garr Nelson. 3. ADD -ON CONSENT AGENDA Item 6. o. SKB Trust Fund Appointment Mayor Droste recommends Matthew Kearney to a three -year term. 4. Additional Information for Item 7.a. Brockway EAW A paragraph was added on page 5 of the Findings of Fact and Conclusions. 5. ADD -ON LEGISLATIVE /INTERGOVERNMENTAL Item 9.a. Consider Resolution Regarding U.S. Senate Telecommunications Bills The U.S. Senate is review two opposing bills on regulating telecommunications fees and taxation policy. Rosemount would stand to lose the tipping fees for cable communications if Senate Bill 150 is passed. Staff recommends a resolution supporting the Access Tax Ban Extension and Improvement Act (5.2084) and Opposing the Internet Tax Nondiscrimination Act (5.150) 6. ADD -ON EXECUTIVE CLOSED SESSION Item 11. a. Assessment Settlement for KenRose Shopping Center City Attorney LeFevere seeks City Council's direction.
