EXECUTIVE SUMMARY FOR ACTION
CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: MARCH 1, 2004
The American Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the 1973 Rehabilitation Act requires the City Council to
appoint an ADA Coordinator. This position is responsible for ensuring the City meets all requirements of the
regulations,, assists persons with accommodation requests and investigates and processes complaints. As the
City of Rosemount still has Paula Graff on record for performing this function, I recommend that her
replacement, Dawn Weitzel take over this function.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO APPOINT DAWN WEITZEL AS THE CITY OF
ROSEMOUNT ADA COORDINATOR
