The Mayor and I will be attending the National League of Cities Conference in early March. The City
Administrator position also holds the Deputy Clerk title. ' Appointing an interim Deputy Clerk would
allow official documents from the City to be processed without delay. City Clerk Jentink has a
scheduled vacation March 6 to March 17 causing the City to be without an authorized signature for a
short time unless this action is taken. In order to maintain the operations of the City in my absence, I
would recommend appointing Finance Director Jeff May as the Interim Deputy City Clerk.'
