Mr. William Droste,
Mayor
City of Rosemount
2875 145"' Street W
Rosemount, MN 55068
Dear Bill,
I want to thank you, the City Council, City Administrator Verbrugge, and Parks and
Recreation Director Schultz for giving me the opportunity to serve on the Parks and
Recreation Commission for the past year.
However, my wife and I have made the very difficult decision to build a new home
within the City of Farmington. This move is expected to occur on June 1, 2004 and I
would thus be unable to serve on the Parks and Recreation Commission past May of this
year. It is my thought however that given the current postings for Commission openings,
it might be in the best interests of the City and Parks and Recreation Commission to end
my term on March 31, 2004 to allow a new Commissioner to begin their duties on April
I want to commend you, the Council and staff on your strong and effective leadership
since 2002. This leadership has been visible within the community as residents and
businesses alike are being given the opportunity help shape the future of Rosemount in all
facets of its continued development.
I wish you and the City the very best and will be watching Rosemount continue to
develop from my new home in Farmington.
Sincerely,
Steve Wilson
