celebration. Recipients of this year's awards are Police Officer Mark Robideau (Ret.) and Fire Fighter Tim
Buyck.
Officer Robideau was recognized for his 25 years of dedicated service to the community as a D.A.R.E.
instructor, investigator and patrol officer. He always conducted himself in a manner that reflected well on the
city and police department. Mark was highly regarded and respected by many for his empathy, compassion and
professionalism. Officer Robideau was present at the Legion's celebration on March 13 and received his
reward there.
Fire Fighter Buyck was unable to attend the Legion's event on March 13; he will be present at the Council
Meeting to receive the award from Post Commander Jeff Kaczmarek .
