1. Item 6.f. Receive Bids /Award Contract for Meadows of Bloomfield and Meadows of
Bloomfield 2 °a Addition, Street and Utility Improvements, City project 351
Bids were received on Wednesday, May 26, 2004, with a recommendation to award the bid to
Ryan Contracting Company, Shakopee, Minnesota in the amount of $3,785,848.40. The
engineer's estimate was $4,510,632.85. See attached letter and resolution.
Recommended motion: MOTION to approve A RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND
AWARDING CONTRACT FOR MEADOWS OF BLOOMFIELD AND MEADOWS OF
BLOOMFIELD 2 ND ADDITION STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS, CITY
PROJECT 351.
2. Item 6. i. Amendment to City Code Title 9, Chapters 1 and 2, First Reading
Two more references were found to the Uniform Building Code that needs to be changed to
"International." Building Code in Title 9, Chapter 1, Building Code Section 1. B. and Title 9,
Chapter 2, Excavating and Grading, Section 1. A. Please use this copy for reference. See
attached.
3. Add -On Consent, Item 6.j. Minutes of April 26, 2004 Special City Council Meeting
Approve minutes of April 26, 2004 Special City Council Meeting. See attached.
4. Remove Item 9. Closed Executive Session: Rosewood Estates
Placing the Closed Session on agenda was a miscommunication. This issue was handled at a
previous meeting. Please remove this from the agenda.
